ReVINYLised: Radio Documentary

This radio documentary is entitled ReVINYLised. It was the main project for my first semester (14/12/2015) during my year-long MA in Journalism with New Media (2015/2016) at the Cork Institute of Technology. The documentary revolves around the resurgence of vinyl records and record shops in today’s society. There is also a corresponding video documentary of the same name completed as part of my thesis.

Special thanks to the interviewees:

  • John “BIPOLARBEATS” Dwyer (Pistol & Boo Vinyl, Mother Jones Flea Market, Cork)
  • Richard Duncliffe (Vintage Vinyl, Mother Jones Flea Market, Cork)
  • Ray O’Brien (Music Zone, Douglas Court Shopping Centre, Douglas, Cork)
  • Colm Cahalane (Sharp podcast on UCC 98.3FM, University College Cork, Cork)
  • Pierce Dorney (my brother, musician, and young music consumer)
  • Stephen Murphy (young music consumer)
